Clean Ocean Club is a virtual coastal community established by the Mission Possible Foundation. It engages and empowers youth to spread awareness about the devastating effects smoking and vaping have on our oceans and coasts — combining environmental conservation with health prevention.
Cigarette butts and vape waste account for nearly 40% of all trash collected through beach clean-ups, making them the most littered items on the planet. Each year, over 5 trillion butts are improperly discarded, leaching toxic residue into our soil, water, and air. Clean Ocean Club was created to dissolve this problem through youth-led, adult-mentored action.
We believe that the more meaningfully kids are engaged, the less likely they are to take part in risky behaviors like smoking and vaping. Through signs, songs, games, contests, and campaigns, we empower youth to become lifelong champions of sustainability and health.
Mission Possible Foundation is the parent organization behind Clean Ocean Club. It connects companies, nonprofits, and communities while empowering youth as partners to support worthy causes through mentorship, performances, campaigns, and creative arts — all united by a shared passion for prevention.
Our Signs of the Times fundraising sticker packs contain exclusive "Don't Trash Our Ocean" and "Save Our Oceans & Coasts" weatherproof stickers. They are designed to be placed on waste receptacles, recycling bins, storefronts, cars, lockers, and more.
